Be original this Thanksgiving and make this stuffing
Preheat the oven to 350 Fahrenheit.
Spray a 1 quart ceramic dish with cooking spray.
Cut the sourdough into one inch cubes,
In a large skillet, add the olive oil, onions, garlic. Cook on low, for 10 minutes until onions look caramelized.
Chop the apple into small cubes. Add to the skillet for 1 to two minutes.
In a large bowl, whisk together the 2 eggs and vegetable broth.
Add the cubed bread, onions, and apples and 2 oz of cubed cheddar to the bowl. Mix until the bread has soaked up all the liquid.
Pour the stuffing mixture into the pan. Add the rest of the cheddar between cubes of bread.
Cook for 40 minutes in the oven or until the top is crispy, and the bottom is not soggy.
