Grilled Brie. It sounds bizarre right? But let me tell you, once you try it you might not want to have brie any other way. Especially when you are topping it with tart juicy plums. It’s the perfect balance of sweet, creamy, and tart.
I am guessing you have had baked brie before, right? If not stop right there and make these two recipes immediately (Fig and Blackberry Baked Brie & Cranberry Pomegranate Pistachio Baked Brie. Once you have brie served warm you can never enjoy it any other way!
Plum Grilled Brie
Warm juicy plum on top of grilled brie makes for a delicious summer appetizer
Ingredients
- 1 plum
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp thyme
- 1 brie wheel
To Garnish
- watercress
- lemon zest
Instructions

Thinly slice the plums.

In a small pot add the olive oil, plums and thyme and put on medium heat for 10 minutes.

Grill the brie for 7-8 minutes on each side. I used a grill plate.

Top the brie with the warm plums.

Garnish with watercress and lemon.

Serve with a warm baguette or crackers of your cheese.
