Four Facts about Blackberry Nutrition:

  1. Blackberries contain high amounts of phenolic flavonoid phytochemicals. These are the antioxidants thought to fight against cancer in addition to protective benefits on aging and inflammation.
  2. Blackberries are a good source of fiber and low in calories. In fact, one serving of blackberries has more fiber than bran flakes.
  3. Blackberries may help kill oral bacteria that cause illness.
  4. Blackberries also have high amounts of antioxidants which help fight off free radicals which damage cells. Β Antioxidants are another cancer fighting agent.
