When did smoothie bowls become a thing? Who decided that eating smoothies from a bowl was wayyy cooler than drinking a smoothie from a glass? I mean, from time to time, I am still drinking my smoothies, but overwhelmingly, I am slurping these creations from a bowl. Someone leave a message and tell me why!
Peaches and raspberries! What a combination! Has anyone ever had it before? I don’t think I had previously ever thought to combine the two, but boy am I happy I did! It’s really the perfect sweet and sour combination, like natures sour patch kids! Speaking of sour patch kids, who agrees that they are by far the best candy you had growing up!
OK, back to this smoothie bowl, the moral of today’s post is you have to try this combination! But I am certainly waiting on the edge of my seat for answers on the bowl vs. glass debate. I think it has something to do with influence from California (of course) specifically acai bowls. For some reason, acai smoothies have always been served and bowls but now everything is just served in bowls! thoughts?!
